The Kewanee High School speech team made waves at a tournament held at Limestone last weekend, showcasing the talents of its members with impressive results. In the JV categories, Karina and Marcos both clinched 2nd place in Humorous Interpretation and Declamation respectively. Summer stood out remarkably, securing 1st place in JV Prose, 4th in JV Radio, and a 7th place finish in Varsity “Save Our Ship.” Among varsity competitors, Marcus and Nolie performed valiantly, capturing 6th in Oratorical Oration and 5th in Poetry. As a collective force, the team earned a well-deserved 2nd place among small schools. Congratulations to all team members for their outstanding achievements!
