Princeton runners turned in strong performances at the Sterling Freshmen/JV Meet held on October 21st. Leila Acker led the freshmen girls with a first-place finish, clocking a personal best of 23:31. Lily Simpson followed in third at 25:39, and Emma Dye took fifth in 26:14. On the boys’ side, Brady Gross claimed second place among freshmen with a time of 19:59. For the JV boys, Allister Swanson secured 13th and recorded his own personal best of 21:03. Coach Pat Hodge praised the athletes’ composure in challenging windy, cool, and wet conditions, especially during the tough middle miles.
