The opportunity to enhance education is knocking at Black Hawk College, with no-cost Adult Education GED® and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes available for qualifying students. Classes are held at the Community Education Center in Kewanee, offering both day and evening options for GED® programs and exclusive evening sessions for ESL learners. These three-week courses are scheduled to provide flexibility and targeted education. The GED® sessions are February 3rd to February 20th or February 24th to March 13th. The GED sessions are from 9 AM to noon or 4 PM to 6 PM.
Meanwhile, ESL classes are January 27th to February 13th or February 18th to March 6th. The ESL classes meet from 5 PM to 7:30 PM. Interested students must register and take a placement test in person by appointment. For more information or to schedule a test, call 309-854-1875.
