The Quad Cities Community Foundation is offering over $600,000 in scholarships for the 2025 academic year. Local students across Iowa and Illinois are invited to apply for more than 70 different scholarships by February 15, 2025. These scholarships are aimed at high school seniors and graduates pursuing further education at trade schools, community colleges, or four-year universities.
“Our donors recognize the value of education and supporting students at all stages of their careers,” said Sue Hafkemeyer, the Community Foundation’s President and CEO. “Scholarships have the power to change lives, and we’re proud to connect donors and local students in a way that lifts our whole community.”
“Support for students is an investment in the future of our region,” said Kelly Thompson, vice president of grantmaking and community initiatives. “Scholarships make education and opportunities more accessible; they create opportunities that will go on to impact all of us.”
The deadline to apply for scholarships is February 15, 2025—but students are strongly encouraged to begin the process early. Find more information on the application process here: www.QCCommunityFoundation.org/
