    Eastern Iowa, Northwest Illinois, Northeast Missouri, Southwest Wisconsin
    EFFECTIVE
    This Saturday afternoon from 555 PM until Midnight CDT.
    THREATS
    A couple tornadoes possible, Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely, Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible
    SITUATION
    Thunderstorms will gradually develop this evening and spread into the Watch area. Large hail, damaging gusts, and a few tornadoes are possible with the stronger supercells and embedded thunderstorm clusters. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 75 statute miles north and south of a line from 65 miles west of Burlington IA to 55 miles east southeast of Dubuque IA.     PRECAUTIONS
    A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible warnings.

A fun family tradition! Join us at the Athletic Field for the Annual Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter Egg Hunt is set up so your little bunny can find candy or toy filled eggs with children of the same age. Pre-registration is preferred. Children are separated into the following age groups: 2 & 3 yr olds, 4 & 5 yr olds, K-2nd grades and 3rd – 5th grades. Each age group will be at a separate location within the Athletic Field. Admission is FREE thanks to the Geneseo Park District Foundation

Check this out- an Easter Egg Drop in which Eggs will be dropped from a helicopter right here in Geneseo on Saturday March 30 at 1pm. Save the date!
The event is free to attend and is open to the public. Donations for the Geneseo-Atkinson Food Pantry will be accepted. Bring a non-perishable food item!
Meet at the Rotary Club of Geneseo, Illinois Gazebo on W. NORTH STREET. There will be an area marked off away from egg drop for little kids. Ages 1-12 are invited to participate. The Egg Drop is sponsored by VFW Post 5083 Geneseo Illinois Auxiliary and AgFarmacy.
This Easter join EC for a special service! This day will include a FREE family photo with an Easter themed backdrop. Immediately following the service will be a children’s Easter Egg Hunt with over 2,500 eggs at 12:15 PM!!!
