MACOMB, IL – The Spoon River College Office of Community Outreach has announced they will are offering a variety of technology classes, which will be held at the Spoon River College Macomb Outreach Center.
Computer/Internet Basics will be held on Tuesday, March 14th from 9 to 11 a.m. This class will break down the new Windows 11 operating system in an easy-to-understand format. Students will learn about the Start Menu and Apps, personalizing your taskbar, Microsoft Edge, internet browsing information, as well as tools, tips and shortcuts to make their lives easier.
Intro to Microsoft Word will be held on Tuesday, March 14th from 1 to 3:30 p.m. What is Word? How can you use it? This class will cover the basics of Microsoft Word and the kind of documents the program can create including basic letters, research papers, or even quick flyers.
There are fees to attended these classes and pre-registration is required. Classes will be held at the Spoon River College Community Outreach Center located in Macomb at 2500 East Jackson Street.
