Valley View Club Celebrating 60 Years with July Fourth Weekend Celebration

Valley View Club is celebrating 60 years with a full Independence Day weekend lineup. The festivities begin July 3rd with a members-only golf skins game for $10, followed by live music from Bell and Field from 5 to 8 PM. On July 4th, members and non-members are invited to a three-person alternate shot tournament with an 8 AM shotgun start. Sign-up details are in the lounge. The celebration continues July 5th with Tropical Sno-Cone Day in Cambridge, featuring snow cones, smoked ham sandwiches, and kids’ hot dog meals. Organizers say the weekend brings together golf, music, food, and family fun to mark six decades of Valley View tradition.

Food service begins at 4 PM on July 5th with smoked ham sandwiches for $8, or a meal with mac, potato, or pasta salad. Kids can enjoy a hot dog meal with Ruffles for $5.

If inclement weather moves in during the afternoon or evening, the event will shift indoors to the dining room. The induction ceremony is scheduled to begin at 4 PM, with the Bell & Field band taking the stage afterward from 5 to 8 PM. Guests can also enjoy smoked ham sandwich meals during the event. Organizers say the plan is designed to keep the celebration on schedule while making sure everyone stays comfortable, rain or shine.
