Veterans and their families from Illinois’ 37th District have an opportunity to come together for a special event honoring their service. State Senator Li Arellano Jr. is hosting a Veterans Appreciation Program and Expo, featuring a keynote address from Terry Prince, Director of the Illinois Department of Veterans’ Affairs. Attendees will have access to representatives from veterans’ organizations, discover local resources, and enjoy complimentary refreshments. The gathering takes place Monday, November 3rd, from 10 AM to 1 PM at the Rock Falls Community Building on West 10th Street. The public is welcome, with RSVPs suggested but not required.
