Wake Up Tri-Counties Samantha Rux from OSF Flu Shot Clinics and Blessing of Pets

Samantha Rux from OSF HealthCare joined Wake Up Tri-Counties to talk about the Feast of Saint Francis on October 2, 2024, school flu clinics beginning October 3rd, and the OSF Scholarship deadline of October 1st. The flu shot schedule is listed below and your child will need the signed permission slip to receive the flu vaccine. The Feast of Saint Francis is on October 4th and will be celebrated at OSF St. Luke Medical Center on October 2nd. The Henry County Humane Society will be at the hospital for the Feast of Saint Francis from 11 AM to 1 PM, with some adaptable pets. The public is invited to come meet animals available for adoption at the Kewanee Animal Shelter. There will be a church service at noon and the Blessing of the Pets at 12:30 PM. There is a community health forum in Kewanee on October 8th at 5 PM at Cerno’s. If you receive an invitation, don’t forget to RSVP. If you didn’t receive an invitation and want to be added to the list, call OSF St. Luke at 309-852-7500 and ask for Samantha Rux or Cathy Foes.
