Wake Up Tri-Counties with RaeAnn Tucker from Henry and Stark County Health Departments

RaeAnn Tucker from the Henry and Stark County Health Departments joined Wake Up Tri-Counties to talk about school physicals and immunizations for students before the start of the new school year.  There is a walk-in clinic on Monday, August 12, from noon to 6 PM, for school physicals, sports physicals, and immunizations, at First Choice Healthcare Clinics in Kewanee, Colona, and Toulon. On Friday, August 16th, there is a program on mental health and loneliness. Stephen Martell from the Henry & Stark County Health Department will be there to talk about the importance of mental health and how to combat loneliness. No registration is required. On August 17th, at 10 AM, the First United Methodist Church in Kewanee is hosting a mental health matters program, to let people know they are not alone.

Henry & Stark County Health Departments & First Choice Healthcare in Kewanee and Colona announce that August 1st–7th has been proclaimed World Breastfeeding Week (WBW) and August has been proclaimed Breastfeeding Month and is celebrated by more than 120 counties nationwide. The theme is “Closing the Gap: Breastfeeding Support For All.”
