Due to a water main break, Great Dane is cancelling third shirt tonight, January 14, 2024, and first shift on Monday, January 15th. According to Publoc Works Director, Kevin Newton, the water main break was discovered around 7:30 PM on Friday along Kentville Road on the extension that supplies water to MTM, Great Dane and one resident on U.S. 34.
Staff had to shut down that section of the water main. Residents were notified of the break on Friday and the city will let customers when their water service will be restored.
