Fire Hydrant work is scheduled for Thursday, August 7th, starting at 7 AM on the northwest corner of Junior Ave and Dewey Ave. Several homes in the immediate area—including 549, 601, and 729 W Division St; 911 West St S; 528 Dewey Ave; and the 600, 700, and 800 blocks of Dewey Ave—will experience a water shutoff lasting around 3 to 4 hours. Once water resumes, a boil order will be in effect until test results return from the EPA Sampling Site. Others nearby may notice rust-colored water or reduced pressure. It’s advised to run cold taps until the water runs clear. Updates will be posted online and on Facebook.
