On Tuesday, October 29th, schools across the district will be awash in a sea of red as students and staff don red attire to mark Red Ribbon Week. This annual event promotes drug-free lifestyles and commemorates the ultimate sacrifice made by Drug Enforcement Agent Enrique Camarena. The wearing of red serves as a pledge to lead drug-free lives and emphasizes the commitment to health and safety within our community. Schools will host various activities throughout the week aimed at reinforcing the message of staying drug-free. Red Ribbon Week is celebrated from October 23rd to October 31st yearly.
