A week off of practice couldn’t keep our swimmers away from the water! A couple of new, returning, and alumni members of the Macomb High girls’ and boys’ swim teams volunteered their afternoon to offer a Doggie Swim Camp at the McDonough County Animal Shelter. The good boys and good girls mostly worked on their dog paddle, but there were some potential freestylers in the bunch! They also made plenty of time for head pats and belly rubs, and the dogs were treated to some homemade dog biscuits from the young entrepreneur Breckyn’s lemonade stand.
