A comedy night featuring comedian Mike Armstrong has been scheduled for Saturday, January 18, 2025 to benefit the Farmington Police Department K9 Unit. The event is being organized by Illinois Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Spoon River Valley Lodge 427.
“Our current K9 dog will retire soon and we need to replace this valuable asset for our department,” said Farmington Police K9 Officer Andy Steck. “So come out for laughs, food and fellowship on January 18th, while supporting a four-legged officer who can truly take a bite out of crime.”
The comedy night will be held on Saturday, January 18th, at the Farmington Moose Lodge, 1001 E. Fort Street. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., a spaghetti dinner will be served at 6 p.m. and the comedy show featuring Mike Armstrong will begin at 7:30 p.m. A benefit auction will be held after the show. Tickets are $35 each and can be purchased at Farmington City Hall or the Farmington Police Department.
