The McDonough County Community Foundation (MCCF) announced a donor- directed endowed fund to support the Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities (CEO) Program at the Old Dairy Café at 210 S. Lafayette on Friday September 13th.
The endowment of $10,000will provide yearly proceeds to support CEO. MCCF chair, Scott Coker, said “We are very happy to be presenting this fund to help the CEO program. It is a great opportunity for local high school students to learn to be entrepreneurs.”
Ketra Roseleib, CEO Board chair, accepted the endowment on behalf of the organization, along with the CEO Class of 2024-2025. The McDonough County CEO Program, which is part of the Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship, seeks to prepare youth to be responsible, enterprising individuals and contribute to economic development and sustainable communities.
