Focus Fitness Family Fun Run/Walk This July 4th
Memorial Hospital is proud to invite community members of all ages to kick off their Independence Day with movement, connection, and fun at the FOCUS Fitness Family Fun Run/Walk.
Taking place on July 4th, this family-friendly event begins at 8:00 AM, with check-in starting promptly at 7:30 AM. The run/walk will start and end at FOCUS Fitness Gym, located at 103 Randolph St, Carthage, IL 62321.
Designed to celebrate health, happiness, and community, this event welcomes participants of all fitness levels. There is no pressure to compete—no chip timing and no prizes—just an opportunity to enjoy physical activity together in a supportive, encouraging environment.
“This event is about bringing our community together in a positive and healthy way,” said Ashlyn Housewright, Executive Director Community Health & Wellness. “We were thrilled with the turnout we saw last summer. Whether you walk, jog, or run, it’s about moving together and celebrating the holiday with family and friends.”
Registration is $15 per person in advance. Day-of registration will be available for $20 per person (cash ONLY please or registrants can pay online with their phones). Participants are encouraged to lace up their sneakers, gather their families, and make this fun run/walk part of their Independence Day tradition.
