    IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible.

    ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Thunderstorms are expected across the watch area today, and again tonight into Sunday morning. Very high rainfall rates of 2 inches or greater in a short time are possible, which could lead to flash flooding particularly in urban areas. In addition, with the potential for repeated rounds of storms, some locations could receive 2 to 4 inches of rain with locally higher amounts possible. With saturated soils from previous rainfall, these rainfall rates and rainfall amounts will lead to an increased risk for flash flooding.

Macomb Man Arrested on Numerous Charges

On Tuesday, December 3rd, Macomb Police Officers and McDonough County Sheriff Deputies responded to a report of a possible domestic complaint. During the investigation of the domestic complaint, Officers learned that the male suspect, later identified as Chanon H. Davis Jr. had presented a firearm and threatened to shoot the victim.

During the altercation Davis grabbed the victim’s shirt and twisted the collar area tight enough to restrict the victim’s breathing. Officers located a firearm in the waistband of Davis, Davis does not have a valid FOID Card. Davis was secured in handcuffs and taken to the McDonough County Jail.

A search warrant was obtained and executed on the residence for other weapons and contraband. Additional ammo and a 25-round extended magazine were located along with several bags of cannabis, MDMA (ecstasy), and a white powdery substance.

Davis was charged with Aggravated Domestic Battery, Unlawful Use of a Weapon by a Felon, Armed Violence, Manufacturing/Delivery of Cannabis more than 500grams, Manufacturing/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
