    Peak afternoon heat indices between 100 to 105 degrees expected.
    WHERE
    Portions of north central, northwest, and west central Illinois, east central, northeast, and southeast Iowa, and northeast Missouri.
    WHEN
    Until 8 PM CDT Monday.
    IMPACTS
    Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.
    ADDITIONAL DETAILS
    Heat impacts will be worsened by several consecutive days of sweltering temperatures. Additionally, there will be little relief overnight with near record warm lows forecast in the mid to upper 70s.
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
    Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an emergency! Call 9 1 1.

March 25

  • Aaron Ralston of Rushville was cited for Resisting/Obstructing, Possession of Meth, Disorderly Conduct, Possession of Cannabis & Aggravated Assault
  • Katrina Stone of Marietta was arrested on a Schuyler Co No Bond Warrant, Stone was later released due to Pre Trial Conditions

March 26

  • Lindsey Lyles of Beardstown owner of a 2019 Nissan Sedan, was parked and struck by an unknown vehicle

March 28

  • Robert Gregory of Rushville was cited for Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse of Victim Under 13, Driving While License Expired More than 1 Year & Obstructing Identification. Gregory also had 3 outstanding warrants, 1 out of Macoupin Co for Bringing a Syringe in a Penal Institution, and 2 out of Peoria Co both for Domestic Battery & Aggravated Assault. Gregory remains lodged in the Schuyler Co Jail

March 29

  • Jesse Callahan of Beardstown was driving a 2014 Buick Utility and struck a deer on LaGrange Rd
  • Melaine Thompson of Lewistown was driving a 2010 Honda Odyssey & struck a deer on RT 24 near Kalebaugh Rd

  • Dylan Wallace of Rushville was arrested on a Fulton Co Warrant with a bond amount of $3000 with 10% to apply, Wallace posted $300 and was released
  • Rebecca Boyd of Rushville was driving a 2012 Ford Escape struck a deer on RT 24 near Devils Backbone

April 1

  • Michael Gaskins of Chillicothe was driving a 2012 Ford Coach and struck a deer on RT 24 near Scotts Mill Rd
