Schuyler Co Sheriff Bill Redshaw reports the following activity in Schuyler Co for the week of May 27th to June 3rd:
May 27
- Mary Miranda-Zacarias of Beardstown was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident. Zacarias was driving a 2012 Dodge Journey and failed to negotiate a curve on Vermont Rd and drove off the roadway striking a panel fence.
- Dallas Surratt of Rushville was driving a 2023 Kia Sedan and struck a deer on RT 99 near Fairview Rd
- Aaron Ralston of Rushville reported several items missing from his residence. This remains under investigation
May 29
- Jonah Hart of Yorkville was driving a 2018 Hyundai Sonata and struck a deer on Scotts Mill Rd near Palm Cemetery Rd
- Daniel DeShong of Keokuk, IA was arrested on a Schuyler Co Warrant, DeShong was later released
May 30
- Tonia Clark of Rushville was cited for Speeding 70mph in a 55mph zone
- Oscar Espinoza of Beardstown was cited for Speeding 75mph in a 55mph zone
- A report of a burglary at the hog confinement on Bader Rd. suspect(s) gained entry and stole tools
May 31
- Maria Sadivar-Garcia was cited for Speeding 71mph in a 55mph zone & Operating an Uninsured Vehicle
- Spencer Boisen of Industry was arrested by Schuyler County on a Hancock Co Body Attachment with a $500 bond. Boisen posted $500 and was released
June 1
- Cynthia Wolf of Mediapolis, IA was driving a 2011 Toyota Sienna Sport and struck a deer on RT 67 near Dean RD
June 2
- Jennifer Steer of Hanna City was cited for Speeding 77mph in a 55mph zone
- Christian Gray-Flatt of Canton was cited for Speeding 74mph in a 55mph zone
