    Peak afternoon heat indices between 100 to 105 degrees expected.
    WHERE
    Portions of north central, northwest, and west central Illinois, east central, northeast, and southeast Iowa, and northeast Missouri.
    WHEN
    Until 8 PM CDT Monday.
    IMPACTS
    Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.
    ADDITIONAL DETAILS
    Heat impacts will be worsened by several consecutive days of sweltering temperatures. Additionally, there will be little relief overnight with near record warm lows forecast in the mid to upper 70s.
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
    Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an emergency! Call 9 1 1.

  • Kimberly Ryan of Auburn was cited for Speeding 81mph in a 55mph zone
  • Tim Riner of Rushville was arrested on a Schuyler Co Warrant with a bond amount of $1000 cash, Riner remains lodged in the Schuyler Co Jail

June 30

  • Danny Barth of Davenport, IA was cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia & Speeding 79mph in a 55mph zone
  • Debra Baldwin of Moline was cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Carol Perrine of Rushville was driving a 2022 RAV4 and struck a deer on Rt 101 near Brooklyn
  • Tim Kerr of Augusta was driving a 2015 Town & Country and struck a deer on RT 99 near Hoelscher Rd

  • Schuyler Co Deputies assisted at a structure fire in Frederick, no injuries were reported, the residence was being torn down when the fire broke out
