Schuyler County Sheriff Bill Redshaw reports the following activity in Schuyler Co for the week of August 26th-September 22nd.
Aug 26 Kevin Lakin of Beardstown was cited for No Valid Registration. Lakin was driving a 2016 GMC Truck. Lakin was travelling south on LaGrange Rd pulling a trailer loaded with logs, the trailer began to fishtail, he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the guardrail of the bridge.
Aug 28 Trace Prather of Rushville was cited for Scott’s Law Aug 29 Elidio Josue Torres Avila of Beardstown was cited for Speeding 80mph in a 55mph zone
Aug 30 Beck Crum of Rushville was cited for Unlawful Use of Electronic Device
Sept 1 Donna Alonzo of Beardstown was cited for No Valid Drivers License, Operating an Uninsured Vehicle, Unlawful Use of Electronic Device, Failure to Secure Child in a Restraint System & Unlawful Display of Registration. Alonzo was also arrested for a Mason Co Body Attachment with a $201 bond, Alonzo posted $201 and was released
Sept 2 A juvenile of Rushville was driving a 2012 Nissan Maxima and struck a deer on Kinderhook Rd near Reed Ln 8 Verbal Warnings 3 Assisting other Agencies 4 Motorist Assists 5838 Miles Patrolled 13 Daily Detainee Average 1 Warrant executed 4 Summons Served
