State Senator Neil Anderson (R–Andalusia) is once again inviting residents of the 47th District to help spread love and kindness through his Annual Valentines for Seniors Card Drive, now underway through February 6th, 2026.
The annual initiative encourages individuals, families, classrooms, and community groups to create homemade Valentine’s Day cards for seniors living in nursing homes, assisted-living, and long-term care facilities throughout the district.
“Our seniors have given so much to our communities, and this is a simple but meaningful way to show them how much they are appreciated,” said Senator Anderson. “Valentine’s Day can be especially difficult for those who may feel isolated, and these cards serve as a reminder that they are remembered, valued, and loved.”
Senator Anderson welcomes participation from students, scout troops, churches, civic organizations, and anyone looking to make a positive difference this Valentine’s Day.
Completed cards may be mailed or dropped off at Senator Anderson’s District Office located at 103 N. College Ave., Suite 201, Aledo, IL 61231. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and a secure after-hours drop box is available outside the office for added convenience.
