The Spoon River College Community Chorus is set to mark its 20th anniversary in 2025 with two festive performances of Handel’s Messiah and Winter Olio, taking place December 6th, at 7 p.m. and December 7th, at 3 p.m. at First Christian Church in Canton.
Under the baton of John L. Davis, audiences can expect holiday classics such as the Christmas portion of Messiah and the rousing Hallelujah Chorus, as well as seasonal favorites like Jingle Bell Fantasy and It’s You I Like. Tickets become available November 1 through the chorus website or chorus members. Seating is limited to 200 per performance.
