Spoon River College is boosting local food safety standards by offering the “Food Service Sanitation Manager Certification” class. Scheduled for January 27th at the SRC Outreach Center in Macomb, this essential course runs from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. It’s designed to equip food service managers with the latest in safe food handling, preparation, and storage techniques.
Conducted by Wanda Adkins from I Food Manager, the course mandates an eight-hour training followed by an exam, requiring a 75% score for certification. Attendance costs apply, and pre-registration is essential. Further sessions are available on February 24th, March 24th, April 28th, and May 19th.
