State Representative Dan Swanson (R-Alpha) has passed legislation out of committee that will assist firefighters in their job as first responders. HB338 will insure that side-by-sides will lawfully be able to be used by fire departments around the state.
Many fire departments are going to side by sides which bring even more off-road capability for their department to navigate challenging terrain with ease, allowing them to navigate through rough and inaccessible terrains where traditional fire trucks cannot reach.
HB3388 was approved this week by the Transportation: Vehicles and Safety Committee and now moves to the full House for consideration.
