Tickets will be available May 15th, for the SRC Community Chorus Concert, “Music from the Time of the Dust Bowl: An Edu-Concert.” Audiences can experience this unique event on Sunday, June 22nd, with performances at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at First Christian Church in Canton.
Thanks to Two Rivers Arts Council and the chorus’s 20th anniversary, general admission is just $5. The program features songs from 1929 to 1940, including classics like “42nd Street” and “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” Special guests portray historical figures, adding a local touch to the musical journey. Tickets can be purchased online or from chorus members.
