Today MMS held its first Incentive for the One Million Word Challenge – an Ice Cream Sundae party. The Challenge was extended – to read 250,000 in the 1st Quarter – we had 26 students reach that goal!
On the whole, for the 1st Quarter, we had 359 books approved, 105 readers participating for a total of 24,473,652 words. We are well on the way to seeing that number growing.
And we already have 5 students that reached the One Million Word Count in the 1st Quarter with some impressive word counts.
