WATER MAIN BREAK DISRUPTS NORTHWEST SERVICE
Due to a water main break on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, the northwest quadrant of the city is currently experiencing water service disruptions. Customers will be without water or very little water until the repair is complete.
A boil order will go into effect once water service is restored. Until further notice, affected customers are encouraged to take the following precautions to keep themselves and others safe:
Do not use any available water for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, making ice, washing fruits or vegetables, or preparing baby formula. Instead, use bottled water or properly boiled tap water.
How to boil water safely:
1. Bring water to a full rolling boil (with bubbles continuously rising across the surface).
2. Continue boiling for at least 5 minutes.
3. Allow the water to cool before using.
