The LTC Girls’ Basketball Tournament hosted by Wethersfield saw decisive victories and close matches. Abingdon-Avon defeated Knoxville 58-29, while Wethersfield beat United 43-31. Ridgewood narrowly won against Annawan 41-39, and Princeville dominated Stark County 52-14. West Central fell to ROWVA/Williamsfield 26-56, and Bureau Valley triumphed over Galva 86-44. The tournament continues on Monday and Wednesday. “A great first day of action by all of our conference teams, players, and coaches!”
The LTC Girls’ Basketball Tournament continues at Wethersfield High School and Junior High gyms. On February 10th, games include Annawan versus Stark County and Ridgewood versus Princeville at the high school. West Central faces Galva, and ROWVA/Williamsfield takes on Bureau Valley at the junior high. The championship game between Abingdon-Avon and Wethersfield is set for February 12th.
