The National Weather Service of the Quad Cities has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for areas along and North of Interstate 80 on December 30, 2023, through Sunday morning, including Henry and Bureau Counties.
According to NWS Quad Cities, freezing drizzle is expected to begin between 8 PM and 12 AM. The freezing drizzle may change over to mostly light snow after 2-4 AM and continue through 10 AM to noon. A very thin glaze of ice, and less than an inch of snow accumulation is expected to make for slippery travel conditions. Drive with extreme caution if you must travel.
