MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois University Athletics have announced that they will be holding their National Signing Day party at Sports Corner @ 124 in Macomb on Wednesday from 4:30 to 6:30.
National Signing Day is the day that NCAA Football programs across the country celebrate the signing of upcoming athletes to their teams and this year’s celebration will mark the first February signing day for the Leathernecks under new Head Coach Joe Davis, who has signed five new student-athletes during the early December signing period and welcomed 17 new mid-year student-athletes.
Davis and his coaching staff are looking forward to adding to their 2024 roaster with several more additions on Wednesday.
“WIU Football is thrilled to welcome this outstanding group of student-athletes to the Leatherneck family,” said Davis. “We’re excited to share the achievements of these young men with the Macomb community at Sports Corner on Wednesday and to celebrate the hard work put in by our coaching and support staff!”
