Youth Mental Health Workshop at Spoon River College on June 9, 2026

Spoon River College is set to host a Youth Mental Health Workshop on Tuesday, June 9, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the Community Outreach Center in Macomb. Led by Shelby Carlson of the University of Illinois Extension, the session aims to help students entering grades 7 through 12 learn about mental health, try hands-on coping strategies, and work to reduce stigma. The workshop costs $10 per participant, with pre-registration required. The Outreach Center is located at 2500 East Jackson Street.
