Zach Montez has concluded his remarkable high school wrestling career with a stellar 4th-place finish at the IHSA state tournament. Not only did he earn the title of WB6 Wrestler of the Year, but he also became the first athlete to clinch the WB6 Tournament Championship four times. Montez sets an impressive benchmark at Geneseo High School, holding the record for the most wins. Furthermore, he is the first wrestler in GHS history to secure placements every year throughout his high school tenure.
