WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The U.S. Energy Department is considering revoking nearly $1.1 billion awarded in retooling grants to Chrysler-parent Stellantis and General Motors last year by the administration of President Joe Biden, according to a document seen by Reuters.

The projects are among a list of $12 billion in awards that could be canceled as the partial government shutdown persists.
