FRANKFURT (Reuters) -Bayer said on Wednesday that third-quarter adjusted operating income gained 20.8%, citing gains at the Crop Science division and reconciliation effects in accounting.
Quarterly earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA), adjusted for special items, came in at 1.51 billion euros ($1.76 billion), above the 1.28 billion euros expected on average by analysts according to a poll posted on the company’s website.
