(Reuters) -UnitedHealth said on Tuesday it expects enrollment in top-rated Medicare insurance plans to be in line with its expectations.
Though the data for 2026 star ratings, given by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), is not in yet, the company expects to have about 78% of its members in 4 star or higher plans that cover Americans aged 65 years or older, UnitedHealth said in a filing on Tuesday.
The star ratings can sway enrollees’ choice of plan and determine government’s reimbursement levels.
Shares of the company rose 4.1% to $333.29 in premarket trading.
