An event Friday in Rio Grande seeks to help the homeless and others in need. Services like free showers and laundry washing, covid vaccines, free Narcan kits and training, mental health and wellness services, and legal services will be offered to those who can use assistance. The Community Food Bank of New Jersey will also be present. The event is supported by several local organizations and will take place at the rear parking lot at 1304 Route 47 in Rio Grande from 10am to 2 pm.
