A large fire erupted on the Atlantic City boardwalk Wednesday, engulfing the front of the Resorts Casino Hotel. Fire crews received the call at approximately 4 pm to the 1100 block of the boardwalk. Officials say the fire began underneath the boardwalk then spread to the hotel.
Firefighters did extinguish the fire, the cause of which is still under investigation.
Officials did not say if there were any injuries.
