Charles M. Surratt, Jr, 66, of Macomb passed away at 7:06 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Country View Healthcare Center in Macomb.
He was born on August 3, 1957 in Plano, Illinois to Charles Sr and Joyce A. Stockton Surratt. He married Kim Wilson on November 27, 1998. She survives.
Also surviving are his children, Shane (Melissa Robers) Surratt, Heather (Bill Schroeder) Klotz, Joseph (Nicole) Surratt, Shawn (Royale) Surratt, Corey (Kara) Surratt, Chelsie Wilson, Tanner (Jamie) Surratt and Dallas (Kylee Hoagland) Surratt; twelve grandchildren and four sisters, Diana Delong, Donna Willey, Dawn Surratt and Devonna Kopp.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Charles lived in Industry and Rushville before moving to Macomb in 2020. He worked as a self employed truck driver.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
