Kurtis Fowler
1990-2024

Kurtis Ron Fowler, 33, of Rural Plymouth passed away at 10:34 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2024 in Birmingham Township, Schuyler County.

He was born on December 10, 1990 in Macomb to Kary and Patti Westerhold Fowler.

He is survived by his mother, Patti Fowler of rural Plymouth; daughter, Kaydon Rana Fowler; three sisters, Barbara (Jeremy) Barclay of Industry, Michelle (Cass) Davies of Rock Springs, Wyoming and Brenda (Jason) Fowler of Industry; one brother, Patrick (Heather) Phillips of Macomb; several aunts and uncles; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kary Fowler; grandparents, Keros and Barbara Fowler and Eldon and Anna Westerhold and one uncle, Richard Fowler.

He served in the Navy where he was a member of the US Navy Sea Bees, the Fighting Forty serving from 2009 to 2012. He lived in rural Plymouth all of his life except while serving in the Navy. He worked as a laborer for Nutrien Ag Service in Macomb.

He enjoyed hunting, riding side by sides, outdoor activities and living life on the wild side. He especially enjoyed spending time with his daughter.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  Private grave side services will be held at Blackburn Cemetery north of Brooklyn with Steve Smart officiating with full military rites being conducted by the Macomb American Legion and Macomb VFW. A public Celebration of Life will be held from 4 to 8  p.m. Friday, August 30, 2024 at the Macomb American Legion. There will be no visitation.

Memorials may be made the Kaydon Rana Fowler Education Fund in care of Industry State Bank.
