1935-2024
Selma F. Bradford, 88, of Good Hope passed away at 4:46 a.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2024 at the Elms Nursing Home in Macomb.
She was born on June 19, 1935 in Walnut Grove to Gerold and Fern Adams Dean. She married Larry Bradford on September 9, 1956 in Bushnell. They were married 67 years.
Surviving are her husband, Larry Bradford of Good Hope; two sons, Steven Lee Bradford of Good Hope and Tim (Deana) Bradford of Good Hope; two grandchildren, Dustin Thompson and Davin (Michelle) Thompson; four great-grandchildren, Payton Thompson, Tristen McCool, Caden Bainter and Madelyn Thompson; one brother, Gerold (Dorothy) Dean and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Greg Bradford, daughter-in-law, Wanda Bradford and four sisters.
Selma has lived in Good Hope for 65 years. She worked as a nurse at the Elms Nursing home before her retirement in 2002.
Grave side services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, February 5, 2024 at Good Hope Cemetery in Good Hope with Dr. Tom Schultz officiating. There will be no visitation.
Memorials may be made to the Good Hope Fire and Rescue Squad.
