Lakin S. Meyers, age 31, of Sterling, Illinois, was arrested in the 200 block of West 1st Street on Sunday, February 4th, at 1:43 a.m. for Aggravated Driving Under the Influence, Driving Under the Influence – Alcohol, Driving While License Suspended, Operating Uninsured Vehicle and Improper Lane Usage. Meyers was processed and released with a mandatory court appearance.
Edward Curry, age 31, of Dixon, Illinois, was arrested in the 500 block of Van Buren Avenue on February 4th, at 11:15 PM., for Domestic Battery (Subsequent Offense) and Resisting Arrest. Curry was taken to the Lee County Jail.
The charges are merely an allegation and all parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
