January 22
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of SE 8th Ave to deliver a message for Knox Co. The message was delivered.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of NE 4th Street for an intoxicated subject making suicidal comments. The subject was taken by ambulance for evaluation / treatment.
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of NW 3rd Ave for a neighborhood dispute involving an ongoing issue with a loose dog.
Officer was dispatched to assist the ambulance with a subject having a mental health crisis on NW 7th Street.
Officer was dispatched to assist Henry Co several miles east of town on Route 34 after a snowmobile reportedly fell out of a passing vehicle. The owner returned and removed it from the roadway.
January 23
Officer was dispatched to assist an elderly citizen in the 00 block of NE 5th Ave.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 2nd Street for a gas drive off complaint.
Officer was dispatched to assist Henry Co with a vehicle in the ditch on Hayes Road west of town. Vehicle was gone upon officer’s arrival.
While patrolling, officer located an abandoned vehicle in the roadway in the 800 block of NE 2nd Ave. The owner was contacted and got the vehicle moved.
Officer was dispatched multiple times to the 00 block of NE 4th Street for a subject having a mental health crisis.
January 24
Officer, along with Henry Co, were dispatched to a suicidal and intoxicated subject that was uncooperative in the 00 block of NE 4th Street. The subject was detained and transported to Robert Young in Rock Island for mental health services.
Officer assisted the ambulance with medical calls in SW 6th Street and on SW 4th Street.
January 25
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4th Street for a parking complaint. The suspect vehicle was reportedly stolen from Kewanee. Officer referred the subject to Kewanee PD for a report.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 2nd Street to remove an unwanted subject. The subject was removed and served with a written banning letter.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of SE 4th Street for a city ordinance violation involving trash.
Officer spoke to a resident by telephone to file an identity theft complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of SW 4th Street for a parking complaint. The vehicle was moved without incident.
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of NW 1st Street for an identity theft complaint.
Officer was dispatched to a single vehicle accident just west of the city limits on Route 34.
Officer was dispatched to assist Henry Co with a suicidal subject that left Kewanee earlier in the day and was found several miles north of Galva in a field entrance.
Officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of West Division Street for a 9-1-1 hang up call. It was determined to be a mis dial.
Officer, and his K9 partner, assisted Henry Co with a traffic stop north of Galva.
January 26
Officer provided traffic control in the 300 block of Main Street while a vehicle was towed.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of SE 4th Street for a low speed vehicle inspection.
Officer was dispatched to the downtown area for a reckless driving complaint. Officer was not able to locate the suspect vehicle.
January 27
As the result of a traffic stop in the 00 block of NW 2nd Street, Cameron Kelly, 24, Galva, was cited for operating a vehicle when registration is suspended for no insurance and operating a vehicle with expired registration. He was released with a required court date.
Officer met with a subject at the Galva PD to complete their annual sex offender registration form.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of NW 2nd Street for a parking complaint.
As the result of a traffic stop in the 200 block of Exchange Street, Javier Garcia-Corona, 42, Chicago, IL, was arrested for improper use of registration, not having a valid drivers license, and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released with a required court date.
January 28
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of NW 1st Street for a 9-1-1 hang up call. It was determined to be a child playing with a phone.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of NE 1st Street for a loud noise complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 1100 block of SE 2nd Street for a 9-1-1 hang up call. It was a pocket dial.

Matthew Hankins, 20, Kingston Mines, was issued a citation for speeding in the 600 block of SE 2nd Street.
