November 6
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of NW 3rd Ave to meet a complainant in reference to a theft report.
Officer was dispatched to assist a motorist on Route 34 near Midland Road. The driver had help enroute.
Officer was dispatched to the 800 block of SE 1st Street for a disturbance involving a civil dispute between adult brothers.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of SW 6th Ave for a VIN verification.
Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of North Center Ave for a civil standby to retrieve a vehicle.
While patrolling, officer was flagged down by a subject walking in the 200 block of SW 1st Ave.
November 7
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of SW 4th Street for a loose dog complaint.
While patrolling, officer was flagged down by a citizen with questions in the 200 block of SE 4th Ave.
Officer was dispatched to Wiley Park for a report of broken playground equipment.
Officer was dispatched to the 800 block of SE 1st Street for a theft complaint.
November 8
Officer was dispatched to Route 34 east of town to attempt to locate an injured rabbit. Officer was not able to locate.
Officer went to the 900 block of West Division Street in reference to a city ordinance violation for garbage accumulation. Resident advised they would clean it up.
Officer was dispatched to meet with a motorist in the 500 block of SE 2nd Street.
November 9
Officer spoke to a subject by telephone in reference to a civil complaint in the 800 block of SE 1st Street.
Officer was dispatched to the 1200 block of NW 5th Ave for a 9-11- open line call. It was confirmed to be a mis dial.
As the result of a traffic stop in the 700 block of SW 4th Street, Jordan Morey, 27, Mineral, was cited for operating a vehicle when registration suspended for no insurance and for operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released with a required court date.
November 10
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of NE 4th Street for a mental health crisis.
Officer was dispatched several more times to the 00 block of NE 4th Street for non-emergency complaints. As the result, John Kurzeja, 42, Galva, was arrested for false reporting to a public safety agency. He was taken to the Henry Co Jail.
Officer met with a violent offender against youth at the Galva PD to update their address on their registry.
Officer was dispatched to Wiley Park for a physical altercation involving juveniles.
November 11
Officer attempted to make a traffic stop in Galva for traffic and equipment violations. The driver sped away and a pursuit ensued on Route 34 west of Galva. Knox Co assisted just past Wataga. The suspect vehicle got onto Interstate 74 and ultimately exited at Woodhull. A high risk traffic stop was conducted there. The driver, Thomas Mikrut, 18, Galesburg, was arrested for aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude police, reckless driving, improper lane usage (2 counts, speeding 120mph in a 55 mph zone, and for having a tinted windshield. He was taken to the Henry Co Jail.
Officer spoke to a subject by telephone about a child custody dispute that has continued for several months.
November 12
Officer was dispatched to assist Stark Co with a traffic stop near Black Hawk College.
Officer was dispatched to Wiley Park for a complaint involving a physical altercation involving juveniles.
Officer was dispatched to the 800 block of NE 3rd Street for a loose dog complaint. Unable to locate it.

Joshua McMeekan, 32, Monmouth, was issued a citation for operating an uninsured vehicle in the 1000 block of North Center Ave.

John Soufrance, 28, Geneseo, was issued a citation for having expired registration in the 1200 block of SE 2nd Street.
November 12
Leanne Smith, 25, Hennepin, was issued a citation for having expired registration in the 900 block of SE 2nd Street.
