Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Market Street for a 9-1-1 hang up call. It was determined to be a pocket dial.
Officer was dispatched to a residence on NE 4th Ave to conduct a welfare check. The subject was fine.
Officer was dispatched to the Exchange Street railroad tracks for a crossing arm malfunction. BNSF was contacted for repairs.
Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of West Division Street for a 2 vehicle accident with damage only. As the result, Mary Rawlings, 69, Cambridge, was issued a citation for improper backing.
December 13
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4th Street for a verbal domestic dispute between sisters.
Officer was dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 600 block of NW 1st Street.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SE 2nd Ave for a report involving harassment through electronic communications. The report was forwarded to the State’s Attorneys Office for review.
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of NW 1st Street for a welfare check.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of Burlington Road for a 9-1-1 hang up call. It was determined to be an accidental pocket dial.
Officer assisted the Henry Co Sheriff’s Office with serving an order of protection in the 600 block of NW 1st Street.
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of NW 1st Street for a report involving a violation of an order of protection. This was referred to the State’s’ Attorneys Office.
December 14
While patrolling, an officer noticed that a train had stopped and was blocking all Galva crossings. BNSF was contacted and the train eventually moved along.
As the result of a traffic stop in the 800 block of SE 2nd Street, Skye Greene, 33, Cambridge, was arrested for unlawful use of a drivers license, unlawful use or possession of registration, driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured vehicle, speeding, operating a vehicle with suspended registration, and possession of adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle. She was released with a required court date.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of Morgan Road for a 9-1-1 hang up call. It was determined to be an accidental mis dial.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of SE 1st Street for a report involving harassment through electronic communications. It was referred to the States Attorneys Office.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of SE 7th Ave to assist a citizen after a package was delivered by FedEx to the wrong address. The package was retrieved and delivered to the correct person.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of NE 1st Street for an ongoing issue with a neighbor’s dogs running around with no supervision. Officer contacted the dog owner and explained the Illinois leash law.
December 15
Officer was dispatched to Route 34 just east of town to assist Henry Co with a single vehicle accident due to slick roads.
December 16
Officer was dispatched to assist Kewanee PD with attempting to locate a Galva resident that was wanted for a domestic battery that occurred in Kewanee. Kewanee ultimately located subject in their jurisdiction.
Officer was dispatched to Sentry Estates for a dog bite complaint. The family dog bit a juvenile in the lip.
December 17
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of SE 3rd Street for a verbal disturbance.
As the result of a traffic stop in the 800 block of West Division Street, Chad Kubec, 28, Galva, was arrested for operating a vehicle with suspended registration, operating an uninsured vehicle, and failure to notify secretary of state of address change. He was released with a required court date.
As the result of a traffic stop in the 300 block of Commercial Street, Amanda Robinson, 29, Galesburg, was arrested for possession of adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle, and unlawfully stopping a vehicle in a crosswalk. A passenger, Nathan Eck, 28, Galesburg, was arrested for possession of adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle, possession of cannabis 100 grams to 400 grams, and possession of cannabis 100 grams to 400 grams with the intent to deliver. The police k9 gave a positive indication on this vehicle. They were both released with required court dates.
December 18
Officers were advised of an ongoing disturbance that began in Kewanee and was passing through Galva. This involved a Galva couple being followed by an ex-boyfriend., who had allegedly made threats. Officer located both vehicles and a traffic stop was conducted. The suspect driver, Fredrick Teeslink, 47, Kewanee, was issued citations for failure to signal when required and driving too fast for conditions. Kewanee PD was contacted and will handle the initial part that occurred in Kewanee.

As the result of a traffic stop in the 800 block of SE 2nd Street, Karysa Morris, 28, Kewanee, was arrested for driving while license suspended and failure to dim headlights. She was released with a required court date.
Officer was dispatched to a dog attack complaint in the 100 block of SE 1st Street. A pitbull attacked another dog and then the victim dog’s owner. The owner suffered an injury to her hand.
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of SE 1st Street for a loose dog complaint. Officer was not able to locate it.

Paula Luft, 69, Galva, was issued a citation for speeding in the 1000 block of SE 2nd Street.
December 17
Tammy Hendrickson, 45, Galva, was issued a citation for speeding in the 100 block of SW 2nd Street.
Matthew Millage, 47, Keithsburg, was issued citations for illegal use of lighting system, expired registration, and also having expired registration on a trailer that he was towing.
Jeremy Gallagher, 45, Monmouth, was issued a citation for failure to secure new registration after transfer of ownership in the 00 block of SW 2nd Street.
Cole Glick, 18, LaPrairie, was issued a citation for speeding in the 500 block of SE 2nd Street.
Jamie Howard, 34, Galva, was issued a citation for speeding in the 1000 block of SW 2nd Street.
December 18
Tara Harris, 39, Galesburg, was issued a citation for having illegal window tint in the 800 block of West Division Street.
