October 24
Officer spoke to two intoxicated pedestrians in the 700 block of West Division Street who were walking home from a night out. They made it home with no issues.
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of NW 4th Street at assist a resident who had locked themselves out of the house.
Officer was dispatched to check an open door on a garage in the 00 block of Chester Street. Nothing appeared to have been taken.
Officer met with a subject at the Galva PD in reference to turning in a FOID card that had been suspended by the state.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of SE 1st Street for a 9-1-1 hang up call. It was determined to be a mis dial.
Officer was dispatched to watch for a Galva resident that had fled from Stark Co and was involved in a vehicle pursuit. The subject was located and arrested by Stark Co.
October 25
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of NW 4th Street for a suspicious person complaint. As the result, Leianne Fabry, 62, Galva, was issued an administrative warning ticket (AWT) for disorderly conduct. She was cited and released.
Officer noticed that the crossing arms were activated with no trains in sight at the Exchange Street railroad crossing. BNSF was contacted for repairs.
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of SE 1st Street for a loud noise complaint. Officer checked the area, but was not able to locate.
Officer met with a subject in the 300 block of NW 4th Ave to answer several questions they had about a family member that was struggling with mental health issues.
October 26
Officer was dispatched to assist Bureau Co with checking for a vehicle that was taken without permission in the 300 block of SW 4th Ave. Vehicle was not located.
Officer met with a juvenile and parent at the Galva PD in reference to another parent confronting the child as they walked home from school.
Officer went to the 200 block of NE 3rd Street to locate a wanted subject. As the result, Stephanie Snider, 33, Galva, was arrested on a Henry Co warrant for failing to appear on the charges of driving while license suspended, no insurance, and disobeying a stop sign. She posted bond and was released with a new court date.
Officer was dispatched to a residence on NE 2nd Street in reference to a suicidal subject.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of SE 6th Ave for a loud noise complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Market Street for a possible theft complaint. Items were found. No theft occurred.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of SW 4th Ave for a suspicious activity complaint. An unknown person had reportedly turned a vehicle’s headlights on when it was parked in the yard.
October 27
Officer met with a resident at the Galva PD to conduct fingerprinting for a possible job opportunity.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of SW 5th Ave for a 9-1-1 hang up call. Officer checked the area, but could not locate anyone needing assistance.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of NW 8th Street for a parking complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SE 2nd Ave for a complaint involving a cat with a bag stuck on it’s head. The bag was removed.
Officer was dispatched to the 1300 block of SE 2nd Street for an activated burglar alarm. It was determined to be a false alarm.
October 28
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Market Street in reference to an unknown dog that had been dropped off. The dog was impounded.
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of NW 1st Ave for a slow moving vehicle inspection.
Officer was dispatched to a residence on NW 8th Street for a mental health crisis.
Officer met with a sex offender at the Galva PD to update their employment status.
Officer was notified about a controlled burn taking place in the 300 block of NE 9th Street.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of Burlington Road for a suspicious vehicle complaint.
Officer was dispatched to a residence on NW 7th Street for a mental patient who was being combative.
October 29
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of SW 3rd Street for a 9-1-1 hang up call. It was determined to be an accidental pocket dial.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4th Street for a welfare check. No contact was made.

October 30
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SE 5th Ave for a suspicious person complaint. Officer checked the area, but did not locate anyone.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4th Street for a welfare check. The subject had fallen and was taken by ambulance.
As the result of a traffic stop in the 500 block of SE 2nd Street, April Plemmons, 39, Galva, was arrested for operating a vehicle with suspended registration, and not having any insurance. She was released with a required court date.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of NE 7th Street for a complaint involving an ongoing issue with burning every day. The complaint was unfounded.

October 25
Thomas Neufcour, 30, Bradford, was issued citations for not having valid insurance and having unsafe vehicle equipment in the 900 block of SE 2nd Street.
October 28
Jayesh Patel, 52, Hanover Park, was issued a citation for speeding in a school zone in the 1000 block of North Center Ave.
October 30
Kessler Klopfenstein, 23, Kewanee, was issued a citation for failure to secure new registration upon moving from out-of-state in the 1000 block of North Center Ave.
