Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of SE 2nd Ave to assist a citizen with a civil matter.
January 31
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of NE 3rd Street for a 9-1-1 hang up call. It was determined to be an accidental mis dial.
Officer was dispatched to the 800 block of West Division Street for a child custody dispute.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of NW 4th Street for a 9-1-1 open line call. It was determined to be a mis dial.
February 1
Officer was dispatched to the 1200 block of NW 3rd Ave for an activated fire alarm. It was determined to be a maintenance worker making repairs.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of NE 9th Street for an attempted tax scam complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of NW 2nd Ave for a complaint involving a juvenile being out-of-control.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of NE 6th Street for a 2 vehicle accident with damage only. A crash report was completed.
February 2
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of SE 4th Street for a 9-1-1 open line call. It was determined to be a mis dial.
February 3
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of SE 1st Street for a subject having a mental health crisis.
Officer was dispatched to the north edge of town to watch for a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run accident several miles north of town.
Officer, along with a Henry Co deputy, were dispatched to the 600 block of SE 2nd Street for a suspicious vehicle complaint. After investigating, Zachary Register, 26, Roseville, was arrested on a Warren Co warrant for aggravated fleeing and eluding. The warrant was a “no bond” and he was taken into custody.
Officer was dispatched to a disturbance in the 400 block of SE 7th Ave.
February 4
Officer was dispatched to the Exchange Street railroad crossing for a crossing arm malfunction. BNSF was contacted for repairs.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SE 2nd Ave to remove an unwanted subject.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4th Street to remove an unwanted subject.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4th Street for a parking complaint. As the result, Tim Derry, 60, Galva, was issued an administrative warning ticket (AWT) for parking in an unauthorized area (handicapped parking place) without a placard.
While patrolling, officer noticed a buckled area of pavement in the 00 block of SE 1st Ave. Barricades were placed over area.
February 5
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of SW 7th Street for a 9-1-1 hang up complaint. It was determined to be an accidental mis dial.
Officer was notified about a repossession taking place in the 00 block of SW 4th Street. A vehicle was recovered without incident.
Officer assisted Henry Co with a burglary complaint at the storage units near the high school.

Ashley Lusietto, 31, Sheffield, was issued a citation for disobeying a stop sign in the 100 block of Wiley Street.
Cal Larson, 20, Altona, was issued a citation for improper lane usage in the 200 block of Main Street.

Wendy Swearingen, 40, Kewanee, was issued a citation for failure to yield while exiting a private drive in the 500 block of SE 2nd Street.
February 1
Lauren Hidden, 22, Galesburg, was issued a citation for operating a vehicle with suspended registration in the 900 block of SW 2nd Street.

Corey Blakely, 39, Galva, was cited for operating a vehicle with suspended registration and operating an uninsured vehicle in the 100 block of SE 1st Ave.
Antwain Cabil, 29, Kewanee, was issued a citation for having expired registration in the 600 block of SE 3rd Street.
Angie Dillender, 43, Kewanee, was cited for operating a vehicle with suspended registration in the 200 block of North Center Ave.
