June 12
Officer was dispatched to the 2600 block of Olaf Krans Ave for a low speed vehicle inspection.
As the result of follow up at the Galva Lincoln House from a theft last week, two subjects were located and arrested. Takota Randall, 26, Galva, was arrested for criminal trespass to residence. Madelyn Hahn, 22, Galva, was arrested for theft under $500.00 and criminal trespass to residence. Both subjects were released with a required court date.
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of North Center Ave for a missing 3 year old child. The child was found in an upstairs bedroom.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of SW 2nd Ave for a low speed vehicle inspection.
Officer was dispatched to assist Knox Co with a head-on two vehicle collision with injuries in the 2800 block of East Knox Road.
Officer met with a resident at the Galva PD in reference to a stolen license plate sticker.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of NE 4th Ave to assist a citizen.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of NW 6th Ave for a complaint of animal cruelty.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of NW 6th Ave for a verbal domestic disturbance.
June 13
As the result of a traffic stop in the 400 block of West Division Street, Dean Simoneaux, 66, Galva, was arrested for improper use of registration and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released with a required court date.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of NE 4th Street for a vandalism complaint involving paint being used to make drawings on a new public sidewalk.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of NW 6th Ave in reference to a landlord / tenant dispute.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of NW 7th Ave for a low speed vehicle complaint.
Officer was dispatched to meet with a resident at City Hall in reference to a theft complaint. After some follow up, Jennifer Bainbridge, 47, Galva, was arrested for forgery. She was taken to the Henry Co jail.
June 14
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of Exchange Street for a 9-1-1 hang up call. It was determined to be a mis dial.
Officer was dispatched to a residence on SE 7th Ave for an unresponsive subject. The subject was determined to be deceased. The coroner was contacted.
Officer was notified about a possible illegal burn taking place NW of town. It was referred to Henry Co.
Officer assisted the attorney General’s office with speaking to parents on SW 6th Ave after under-aged children made and published an inappropriate video for Youtube.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of Chester Street for a low speed vehicle inspection.
Officer was dispatched to check on three vehicles parked at the old viaduct west of town. The subjects were advised to move along.
As the result of a traffic stop in the 1000 block of SW 2nd Street, Luke Levene, 47, Galesburg, was cited for having expired Illinois registration and improper display of license plates. A passenger, Tiffany Riley, 40, Galesburg, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. She was released with a required court date.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of NE 4th Ave for a loud noise / disorderly conduct complaint.
June 15
While patrolling, officer noticed that a train had stopped and was blocking all Galva crossings. BNSF was contacted and the train eventually moved along.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of NE 4th Ave to assist a resident with finding their dog.
Officer provided traffic control while subjects trimmed and cleaned the curbs and gutters along SE 2nd Street.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of SW 3rd Street for two 9-1-1 hang up calls. A resident said they believed they heard someone calling for help. Nobody was found in the area.
Officer met with a representative from the Illinois EPA about a complaint received about a local business.
Officer spoke to a subject by telephone about a lost front license plate somewhere between Chicago and Galva. A report was completed and the license plate was entered into LEADS as a stolen / missing item.
As the result of a traffic stop in the 1000 block of SE 2nd Street, Tara Cravens, 31, Neponset, was cited for operating a vehicle when registration is suspended for no insurance. She was released with a required court date.
Officer was dispatched to the track at the school for two 9-1-1 hang up calls that plotted there. It was determined to be a pocket dial from a juvenile.
As the result of a traffic stop in the 300 block of South Center Ave, Neil Furlan, 36, Altona, was arrested for not having a valid driver’s license and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released with a required court date.
Officer assisted Henry Co with a car vs deer accident about 2 miles west of town on Route 34.
June 16
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of NE 4th Ave for a loud music complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of NE 4th Ave for a complaint involving a juvenile wanting to leave without a parent’s permission.
As the result of a traffic stop in the 300 block of SW 3rd Street, Scott Peed, 41, Kewanee, was cited for operating a vehicle with suspended registration for no insurance an operation of uninsured vehicle. He was released with a required court date.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of Chester Street for a two vehicle crash with damage only. A crash report was written.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of Exchange Street for a handicap parking complaint. Officer had the subject move the vehicle to a regular parking spot.
Officer spoke to a subject by telephone about a civil complaint in the 300 block of SW 3rd Street.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of SE 1st Ave for a loose dog complaint. The dog returned home.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of NE 4th Ave for a juvenile complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the Galva Park District for a report of under-aged juveniles drinking alcohol. Officer located three subjects and placed them under arrest after failed alcohol tests. The subjects were transported to the Galva PD where parents were called to pick them up. All three subjects, aged 13, 14, and 16, were issued a juvenile referral for unlawful possession and / or consumption of alcohol by a minor. A partial bottle of Vodka was seized as evidence.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of NE 4th Ave to remove an unwanted subject.
Officer was dispatched to the 800 block of West Division Street to assist IL DCFS.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of NW 8th Ave for a verbal domestic disturbance.
Officer was dispatched to the downtown area for a reckless driving complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 9th Ave for a juvenile runaway complaint. Juvenile was located at a relative’s house.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of NW 6th Ave for a physical domestic disturbance. As the result, Jennifer Bainbridge, 47, Galva, was arrested for domestic battery. She was taken to the Henry Co jail.
June 17
Officer was dispatched to County Highway 5 just north of town for livestock on the roadway.
Officer, and his K9 partner, were requested to assist Stark Co with a traffic stop several miles east of Galva.
June 18
Officer was dispatched to the NE 6th Ave railroad crossing for a crossing arm malfunction. BNSF was contacted for repairs.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of North Center Ave for a complaint of two dogs running loose.
Officer went to the 200 block of NE 3rd Street in reference to a city ordinance violation of burning on a non burn day. The fire was put out.

Taylor Waugh, 32, Aledo, was issued a citation for not having insurance in the 500 block of West Division Street.
June 16
Judson Peed, 46, Kewanee, was issued citations for having an expired driver’s license and having expired Illinois registration in the 400 block of SE 7th Ave.
