On 10/13/2023 at 8:15 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle car Vs deer accident with no injuries in the area of RT 251 & N 36th RD. (Dimmick TWP) Adam Holdenrid (38) of Mendota was driving south on RT 251 when a deer entered the roadway. He was unable to avoid the deer and struck it with the front end of his vehicle.

(Dimmick TWP) Mitchell Landgraf (53) of Mendota was driving north on RT 251 when he drove over a deer carcass causing damage to the front end and undercarriage of his vehicle.
